1异形异义形容词

此类形容词考题的特征虽然是每个形容词的形态相差较大，意义也截然不同，但与前后文的搭配似乎都说得过去，这就是将它们罗列在一起命题的主要原因。此类题的解题技巧是直接法，即不需辨形和辨义，只需根据每个形容词最基本、最确切的含义，直接选取一个最符合逻辑的答案。
11例中，prominent意为"杰出的"。prosperous意为"兴旺的"。solemn意为"严肃的"。prevalent意为"流行的"。能与success搭配的显然只有a）。
12例中，persistent意为"不间断的"。appropriate意为"适当的"。thoughtful意为"周到的"。sufficient意为"足够的"。能与"form"搭配的显然为b）。
